Investigation Summary

This case comes to us from Bramwell , WV . The client contacted our team reporting activity in the home that includes seeing a 3ft. tall creature appearing in various parts of the home and running along the hallway, black shadows, something jumping on the children’s bed while they are trying to sleep, and the client being attacked several times.

We arrived at the home on July 17^th 2008 at approximately 8:30 pm. Upon finishing the house tour we began to set up equipment in various parts of the house and property. The property itself consists of two houses, a trailer, and an old shed. Due to the fact that this property is so big, and has so many buildings we will be going back for a second investigation to cover more ground.

We set up audio equipment in the master bedroom, children’s bedroom, the playroom, and another house on the property which is now being used for storage. Video was set up in the living room shooting down the main hallway.  We also set up motion sensors down the main hallway of the home, as well as in the storage house.

After setting up the equipment and completing initial EMF & Temp. Baseline’s we began the investigation. We started in the dining room where the client reported a light fixture being torn from the ceiling just before we arrived. While conducting EVP work in that room we began to hear what sounded like something walking across the ceiling of the room after we started using a mild form of Religious Provocation. Upon completing the EVP session in that room we then moved to the children’s bedroom to conduct an EVP session in there.  After this session was completed we decided to have a session in the master bedroom. Before we could start however the motion sensor in the storage house was triggered. Upon investigating we did not find anything natural to have set it off. This house is closed off, and it is not possible for someone to get in and out before we can get to it.

After returning to the main house David found that the recorder in the children’s bedroom had been cut off.  It is important to note that this recorder had fresh batteries in it and after inspection, still had plenty of battery power.  Thus it had not just died.  This happened two more times during the investigation. We then conducted an EVP session in the master bedroom before I began Religious Provocation. While we were in this bedroom, David and Anne became light headed when we entered the bathroom.

We started Religious Provocation after midnight.  While performing the provocation in the children’s bedroom we heard the door knob on the spare bedroom being jiggled. This was heard by everyone in the house, yet no one was in that room or near the door. We then moved into the front of the house where David began using Religious Provocation in the living room, dining room, and master bedroom. While in the dining room a very loud knock occurred to the immediate left of David’s head that was heard in the other room by the client and Anne. There was also a very high pitched ringing that David and Anne heard but could not locate as it seemed to be coming from everywhere at once. We then proceeded to investigate the storage house, as well as the trailer that is on the property. While conducting an EVP session, and Religious Provocation in the trailer Christopher began to hear what sounded like something walking around outside and walk up the ramp to the main door, but was unable to find anything.  Anne was outside and confirmed she was nowhere near the trailer nor could she see anything moving around the trailer.

We decided to wrap up the investigation around 3:30 am and headed out. As mentioned before, this property is very large with multiple buildings.  Below you will find some EVP’s that were collected from our first investigation.

This EVP was picked up in the children’s bedroom. This room was empty at the time of the recording, yet you’ll hear something messing with the recorder itself.
