Ellicott City, MD - July 3rd, 2009 Investigators Present David Scott Case Notes
Tech Notes
Baseline Readings
Summary This case was a referral from their good friends at D.C. Hauntings. they were very happy to assist the team and the client. John, the Director of D.C. Hauntings, contacted NADP about this case after he and his team conducted an investigation of their own. After telling David some of the things that had happened since he took on this case they agreed to go to Maryland and help him out. The activity being reported and the fact that people in the home and on John’s team had been attacked lead David to believe that this was indeed a demonic haunt and needed further investigation. John and David arrived at the client’s home at approximately 6:05 p.m. on July 3rd, 2009. Upon their arrival, David met with the family and sat down with them to conduct the interview. Before they could even start the interview, something very odd happened. While they were waiting for the client, John and David decided they would step outside and wait on the front porch. While they were on their way out one of the client’s family members advised John that his driver’s side front door was open on the car. The interesting part about this is that John and David both closed and locked the car doors because they left their equipment inside. It wasn’t until the interview was being conducted that the client said that if anyone parks their car on a certain side of the driveway the doors will open on their own. So, before they even started the investigation, activity was already taking place. After completing the interview they began to set up their equipment around the home while the client prepared to leave for the evening (See Tech Notes for placement). Upon completion of equipment set up, John and David began by doing some EVP work in the living room. While they were doing this they both kept hearing what sounded like talking coming from outside in the front yard. Although they checked several times to see if there were any people walking by the house, they could not find anyone. (It is important to note here that it is impossible to walk by the front of the house without being seen due to the fact that it takes less than 5 seconds to get to the front door to look outside. It also needs to be mentioned that nobody can disappear down the road before being seen due to the fact that you can see for a few miles down the road in each direction in front of the house, nor is there any woods to disappear into in either direction.) They also kept seeing shadows and hearing faint bumping or movement coming from somewhere in the home while they continued the EVP session in the living room. Once they finished their session in the living room they proceeded to the kitchen to start a new session in there. David sat at the table while John sat on the floor. They did not experience much activity while in the kitchen so they decided to move to the upstairs bedrooms to do some EVP work up there. Upon entering the master bedroom David immediately became light headed. However, when David would leave the room, he felt fine. This room is one of two in the home that nobody wanted to be in by themselves. Although they didn’t experience anything while they were in there David did catch an EVP from that room when David began Religious Provocation. (David did receive permission to use provocation from the client) Even more interesting is the fact that David caught the exact same thing that John did on his first investigation. That EVP is listed below. After they finished their session in the upstairs bedrooms they proceeded to the basement of the home which also doubled as another living area with a bedroom and bath. While John and David were in the basement they heard a loud bang come from somewhere in the house when David started to use a mild form of Religious Provocation. This too was caught on the digital recorder and is listed below. A few minutes after that, John and David both heard very distinct walking coming from above them in the living room area. They proceeded to investigate thinking that the client had returned home, but, upon entering the house, they could find no one there. This was also caught on the digital recorder and is listed below. After searching the entire home to find no one there they went back down to the basement to finish their EVP session only to hear more walking upstairs above us in the living room. This time it was much heavier and they were sure that the client had returned home. However, once again, no one was there. It was at this point that David decided to go ahead and start the Religious Provocation session. While David was provoking, David also performed a binding ceremony so as to keep the demonic spirit from attacking the client any further until the home could be blessed. They did not experience any further activity during the provoking session so they wrapped the investigation and called it a night. Below are some of the EVP’s that were caught during the investigation.
