-     RCA recorder 2 was found shut off after 2 hours - Recorder has fresh batteries and a clear memory.

-     Walkie 2 carried by Anne keyed on 2 or 3 times on it's own with walkie 1 not being used at that time - no other radio traffic was observed at that time.

o Upon inspection of walkies on a later investigation, it was found that the batteries were not installed well which could have caused the malfunction.

This was a local case that came to NADP in early August. The client has reported, and shown video evidence of the dog barking and growling at the bedroom when it is empty

NADP arrived at the client’s home on August 19^th at approximately 8:45pm to conduct the investigation. The claims of activity, along with some evidence already gathered by the client told NADP that we were definitely dealing with a demonic spirit, and that the oppression stage had already begun.  Now it was just a matter of finding out how strong and active the demon is.  This information was needed because the client is not affiliated with any church, thus David would be performing the house blessing if necessary.  The strength of the demon will determine how David should prepare himself for the house blessing.

Upon completing the house tour NADP began to set up equipment in various parts of the house to start the investigation.  We began the investigation by conducting an EVP session in the basement.  After about twenty minutes we left the basement and decided to conduct an EVP session in one of the other spare bedrooms. While in this particular bedroom David saw two black shadows move across the ceiling of the room.  After finishing the EVP session in this bedroom David spoke with the client about performing religious provocation after conducting an EVP session in the master bedroom.  Having already spoken to the client several times about using the provocation he received the go ahead to perform it once the EVP session in the master bedroom was completed.  Just before that though we decided to check on the equipment around the house to make sure everything was still in working order. Upon inspection of one of the digital recorders in the basement we found that it had been turned off. This recorder had fresh batteries so it wasn’t a power failure as it still had plenty of power left. David restarted the recorder and placed it back where we had set it up. We then decided to go ahead and conduct the EVP session in the master bedroom, but as we walked down the hall to the room four of us felt a cool breeze as we got close to the bedroom. It is important to note here that the air conditioner was turned completely off for the duration of the investigation, and no windows were open. The client joined us in the master bedroom while we were doing EVP work.  The client reported what was believed to be movement, and rustling noises coming from the corner of the bedroom. However, upon inspection nothing was ever found to have caused the noises or movement. Again, keep in mind that the air was turned off and everyone was sitting still in the room. After we finished the EVP work in the master bedroom we decided to take a break before David began the provocation. While we were all in the living room talking the stereo on top of the T.V. began to turn on and off by itself in front of everyone. This happened three or four times.  After a ten minute break David started provocation, which began in the basement, where Anne accompanied him. While in the basement they both heard what sounded like someone walking down the hallway above them towards the master bedroom, however, when Anne called on the radio to see if anyone was up moving around there was no one on that side of the house at that time. With no other activity we moved back upstairs and David began provoking in the master bedroom with Anne still present. While they were in there, they both heard what sounded like grunting coming from the right side of the bed as well as some other strange noises that could not be explained.  The radio which Anne was using also keyed up on its own. Once they completed the provocation they did some EVP work in an empty spare room and the office down the hall. After completing the EVP session in the office we decided to call it a night and break down the equipment thus heading out around 12:45am.  NADP will be returning very soon to bless the home as we have obtained the evidence David needed.

This EVP is a scream that was picked up on the recorder inside the Faraday Cage in the master bedroom, but, it seems to be coming from somewhere else in the house.  This EVP was captured on the other recorder in the master bedroom and the recorder in the guest bedroom.

NOTE:  Upon revealing the evidence, the client stated he has heard this sound before coming from outside...  Upon the client's investigation, it was discovered this was the sound of a large bird in the trees.  - Evidence Debunked!

This EVP was also captured from the recorder inside the Faraday Cage.  At the time this EVP was captured, no one was near the master bedroom.  We can't figure out what it is...

House Blessing Summary

Chris and David arrived to the client’s home at approximately 3:50pm on September 18th, 2008 to conduct the house blessing. David began the house blessing at approximately 4:00pm after all the equipment had been set up. Digital Voice Recorders were placed in the living room and kitchen area, master bedroom, another bedroom, office, spare bedroom, and the basement area. No video or motion sensors were used during the house blessing.

The house blessing took about 45 minutes to perform, and went very well. We did record some EVP’s of knocking that took place during the set up of equipment, and during the house blessing itself. David did not expect to get much as far as evidence is concerned as this demon was not very strong, and due to the fact that while performing religious provocation during the initial investigation David put a bind on the demon to keep it from attacking, harassing, or persecuting the client any further until the house blessing could be performed. The binding was successful as the client had reported very little activity since the investigation had been conducted.
