This case was a local one for us as well as a referral from our good friends at the National Society of Paranormal Investigation & Research. The NSPIR team had already conducted a thorough investigation at this residence but asked for our assistance in trying to determine what may be in the home, and to bless it as per request of the client. We were very happy to help NSPIR and the client. See the case manager notes for the client claims. The client also stated that they said prayers in their home and used holy water from the Church while they told the entity to leave them alone and get out. (This was done between the investigations of NSPIR & NADP) Since that time they have had little activity but still felt uncomfortable as well as felt like something was watching them, thus wanting a house blessing to get rid of whatever may have still been there.

The team arrived to the client’s home at approximately 7:35pm on April 18^th, 2009.  Upon our arrival we spoke briefly with the family as to how we would perform our investigation that night. Once the family left the home we began to set up our equipment (See Tech Manager notes for placement) and begin the investigation. Since the home had already had a thorough investigation our main objective was to determine whether or not this was a demonic entity, and what type of blessing to perform. The team started out by conducting a short EVP session in the living room. While the team was in the living room doing EVP work Christopher felt what he believed to be a breeze move across his face. At that time, Anne was sitting on a couch next to him while David was standing across the room. The air conditioner was not on at this time or throughout the investigation, nor was there any windows open in the home. A few minutes later Anne, Christopher, and David all heard what sounded like a loud bang come from one end of the home. Upon investigation it was determined to be a car door shutting outside.  Once the EVP session was completed in the living room David began the religious provocation session throughout the home. (David received permission from the client) No one on the team had any experiences during the provocation session. Since the home had already received an in depth investigation, and there were small children that needed to get home and into bed the team wrapped up their investigation around 9:00pm and prepared to leave. At the time of departure the team felt that if there was a demonic spirit in the home it was very weak, in hiding, and that the house blessing should drive it out completely when it’s performed.
