Investigation Summary

This was another local case for the team as it was only twenty minutes from our base of operations. Since this case was so close to our team, David was able to go to the client’s home to do the interview, and when they needed his help due to activity taking place in the home. On one occasion David went to the home to perform a binding ceremony so as to quiet and prevent activity that was bothering the family. The binding ceremony was successful as the client had little to no activity between that night and the investigation. Some of the claims of activity that the client reported was seeing black shadows, hearing scratching on the walls in the Master bedroom, hearing walking and stomping from the second floor when no one is up there, the client’s two year old daughter saying that “a man” is in her room, rocking chair in the daughter’s room would rock on its own, dog’s being let out of their pen by something, lights flickering, and crashing sounds just to name a few.

David arrived to the home at approximately 6:42pm on February 27th, 2010 to conduct the investigation. Upon his arrival he spoke with the client about what would be done that night and talked with them about any recent activity that had occurred. He then began the set-up of the equipment which can be found in the Tech. Manager Notes. While setting up the equipment upstairs David began to feel very dizzy and had to stop to regain his balance. Upon completion of the equipment set-up the investigation began at approximately 8:00 pm. Since he was the only one from the team there for the investigation, and special arrangements had been made for the night concerning the client’s daughter and other household members, he did not want this investigation to be a long one. The investigation began with David taking some pictures of each room while doing EVP work. While taking pictures in the living room, David thought he saw something standing beside him in the hallway out of the corner of his eye. He didn’t pay any attention to it at first as he thought it was the client standing beside him. However, he noticed that the client was on the other side of the room. A little while later he began conducting an EVP session downstairs in the daughter’s bedroom. While holding the EVP session in the daughter’s room David heard what seemed to be knocking and or faint pounding coming from above him in response to some of the questions being asked. There was little to no activity while in this room so after twenty minutes or so the session was stopped and moved to another room. David then returned to the living room to conduct an EVP session there. While doing so he and the client began to hear what seemed to be knocking and banging coming from above them upstairs. This EVP session also lasted for about twenty minutes before taking a break to check on the equipment around the house.

While David was checking the equipment he found that two different recorders were not operating properly. Upon inspection it was found that both recorders had been starting over on their own. Instead of both recorders showing a lapsed time of one hour, one was showing that it had been recording for only forty nine seconds while the other showed that it had only been recording for one minute. Not only were the two recorders showing the wrong amount of time elapsed, but, they were also pausing on their own and then starting again. When David listened to one of the recorders to see how long it had been recording it was discovered that something had been touching and messing with it before turning it off and then back on again. Both of the rooms that these recorders were placed in were completely sealed off and no one had messed with them. It is important to note here that neither of the recorders had ever had any problem like this, and fresh batteries were placed in all the recorders before the investigation began.

It was at this point that David decided to begin Religious Provocation (Which he had received permission to do from the client earlier) to make the demon show itself. David began the provocation session downstairs while the client waited in the living room area. During the time that David was downstairs provoking he did not feel anything unusual, however, when he moved upstairs to provoke he again felt dizzy while he was up there.

After finishing the provocation session upstairs David decided to wrap up the investigation at that time. Afterwards, he talked with the family some more about their case and the investigation itself before heading out a little after 1:30am. Below you will find some of the EVP’s that were caught during the interview with the client, as well as the night of the investigation.

House Blessing - March 20, 2010

David arrived at the client’s house on March 20th 2010 at approximately 12:40pm. Upon his arrival he talked with the client to explain how the house blessing would be performed, and how long it would take. Shelley arrived shortly after David.

Once he finished talking with the client he performed a personal blessing and binding over her. David did this because it was believed that the client was the victim of a generational curse. After performing the personal blessing, the client left and David and Shelley began to set up the equipment around the home. They placed digital recorder in all of the bedrooms, one in the downstairs living, one in the guest living room upstairs, and one in the attic.

Upon completion of equipment set up David began the house blessing ceremony by starting in the garage. Shelley stayed in the little girl’s room for the duration of the house blessing downstairs. Although there was no activity reported or experienced during the blessing of the first floor, Shelley did report that she started to get a bad headache while in the girl’s room, and that there was a lot of noise coming from the second floor directly above her. Once the blessing of the first floor was completed the headache subsided and they both went upstairs to bless the second floor.

Upon entering the second floor both Shelley and David noticed that the temperature had climbed a great deal as it was hot and stuffy on the second floor. It is important to note here that the air conditioning was on, and it was set to 72 degrees. David completed the house blessing upstairs without incident at 2:30pm. After breaking down all of the equipment he and Shelley left the house. David did speak with the client on his way out to inform her that everything went well. The client will also begin to receive counseling in April to help with the healing process. Below you will find one EVP that was captured during the house blessing.

Update

We are happy to report that the demon has been expelled from the home, and its bond with the client has also been broken. The client has had no further problems at the time of this update. We will continue to stay in touch though, just like we do with all of our clients.

In this EVP you'll hear some loud speaking that was captured during the interview with the client. We are not sure what its saying but it is reacting to the interview.

This EVP was also caught during the interview and you can hear very clearly the demon saying "Cut it off."

In this EVP you'll hear knocking during the interview that was not heard at the time. This was captured when David began talking about the demon and how to get rid of it.

This EVP was caught while the client was giving David a tour of the home. In it you'll hear a whispering conversation that was not the client or David. This was caught on the
other end of the house, in which no one was present.

House Blessing

This male whisper was captured in the little girl's room right before the house blessing began. This is very significant because the little girl often reported talking to a "man" in her room at night.
