Demonology is the study of demons and devils, their origins, powers, limitations, and reason for existence. Simply put, demons and devils are "Fallen Angels". They are the former angels that rebelled with Lucifer against God before man was created. It is not known however the exact number of demons in general. (For the purpose of this page when I refer to demons that will also include devils) What I can tell you though is that 1/3 of the angels in heaven did rebel against God with Lucifer, and their numbers never increase or decrease. It always stays the same.

Demons have one purpose. That purpose is to destroy mankind, and make him/her suffer in the process. Demons do not discriminate. They attack babies, children, young adults, adults, and the elderly. Nor does it matter what religion you are, or ethnic background. You were created by God, in his image, therefore you are the enemy. Demons can appear in any form they wish. Demons will always manifest (show themselves) as a black shadow, mist, or humanoid form. They may also appear as red or orange mists. Demons are also always accompanied by foul smells, odors, and noises. The odors are those of bile, rotting flesh, or sulfur and the noises are usually those of scratching on the walls, growling, even pig like snorting. Demons also have the ability to pick up and throw objects of up to 300lbs or more.

Now for those of you that may be wondering how or why demons attack people there are 3 reasons:

1.) You invited it into your life.

2.) You have been cursed by someone who is practicing witchcraft or is a witch.

3.) It was there before you were. (i.e. you moved into a infested house.)

There are several ways to invite a demon into your life. The two most common ways are séances and the use of an ouija board. Demons are NEVER , I repeat NEVER to be confronted or challenged by anyone except for the clergy (ministers, priests, etc.), or a Religious Demonologist. If you believe that you, your home, or someone you know may be experiencing demonic activity then you need to get help right away. Now, having said that I do need to inform you that most churches will not perform an exorcism unless they have undisputable proof that you are under demonic attack. This is where a paranormal team, or R. Demonologist comes in. They will gather the evidence needed to get the church to intervene. Please, please always be open and honest with your local church official when it comes to demonic activity. I know you may be worried that they may think your crazy when you tell them your problem, but remember, part of their job is in dealing with demons. If a priest goes into your home to bless it and only does it half heartedly it will only make things worse. They need to know everything and be properly informed and prepared.
